Gap Personnel operating as an employment business are currently recruiting for Weighbridge Operatives on behalf of a client located on the outskirts of Chester. This is an ongoing vacancy working full time hours with the opportunity for the right candidate to go temp to perm. Immediate starts available.

4 on 4 off Days (6am-6pm)

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate weighbridge equipment with precision to measure vehicle weights accurately.
• Record and maintain weight data for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Provide customer service by effectively communicating with drivers and customers.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.
• Prioritize safety by always adhering to protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role or as a weighbridge operator preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Due to location, own transport is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with drivers and customers.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for data recording and documentation.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
