Software Engineer - .NET / C# / Vue.js / Azure - Chester Key points

• Salary up to £50,000
• Hybrid working - 2 days per week on-site in Chester

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Software Engineer to join a successful and fast‑growing eCommerce business based in Chester. The organisation develops and maintains high‑traffic, customer-facing platforms, supporting large transaction volumes and a strong online presence.

You will be part of a collaborative engineering team building scalable, cloud‑based systems, with a clear focus on performance, reliability, and user experience.

• Designing, building, and enhancing scalable applications using .NET, C#, and Vue.js
• Collaborating with cross‑functional agile teams to deliver new features and platform improvements
• Working end to end across the stack, from front‑end user journeys to cloud‑hosted back‑end services
• Implementing and maintaining solutions in Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
• Continuously improving system performance, scalability, and resilience in a high‑traffic environment

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred)
• Understanding of cloud‑based development, ideally within Azure
• Passion for clean code, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement

• Salary up to £50,000
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
