Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. Youll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience. If you would like to start a career in sales with massive potential for progression and great earning potential, and have the gift of the gab, this may be the apprenticeship for you. Must hold a level 3 qualification to be eligible for this apprenticeship (equivalent to A Levels)
What you'll do at work
A Sales Executive is responsible for contacting potential or existing customers to discuss competitive gas and electricity tariffs, broadband, boilers, boiler cover & appliance cover. The agents goal is to understand the customers needs, explain the benefits of switching, and guide them through the sign-up process. Success in this role relies on strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to build quick rapport while working to targets in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities of an Sales Executive:
- Reach out to new, existing and previous customers to either sign up to a contact or renew their contracts
- Evaluate customer satisfaction with their current supplier and suggest alternatives if needed
- navigate internal and external systems
- Consistently meet and exceed set targets and objectives
- Respond to customer inquiries and address objections
- Maintain a high standard of customer service
