About

The Role

The Senior Merchandiser is responsible for driving the commercial success of the brand by blending creativity with data‑driven strategy to plan, develop, and execute all product collections. A key partner to the Product team; they ensure the right product is delivered to market at the right time, at the right price whilst maintaining the brand aesthetic design integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Range Planning & Product Strategy. Develop and implement seasonal merchandise plans aligned with brand objectives.
  • Key partner to Design, Product Development and Sourcing to curate cohesive collections that represent the brand identity.
  • Provide analysis to support range planning based on global market insights, and competitor analysis.
  • Forecast seasonal sales and manage Open‑To‑Buy (OTB) budgets.
  • Responsible for achieved margin. Key partner to Product Development and Sourcing team owning in‑take margin.
  • Partner with Sourcing on trouble shooting and communicating production delays.
  • Identify assortment gaps and opportunities for growth, including opportunity analysis in global markets.
  • Analyse historical sales data, trends and inventory levels to project future demand.
  • Monitor sell‑through performance, margins and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock mix.
  • Responsible for markdown and replenishment strategies.
  • Adhere to seasonal calendar supporting cross‑functional partners to ensure product timelines are met.
  • Review product at each sampling stage contributing feedback as required.
  • Weekly reporting of product sales performance and stock cover.
  • Analyse sales data and KPI’s to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for upcoming seasons.
  • Prior to seasonal kick‑off, provide feedback on best‑selling categories and consumer preferences.
  • Partner with E‑com and Marketing teams on product performance. Contributing to online product narratives and informing teams of key business product strategies to build sales growth.
  • Collate product feedback from E‑com and Customer Services team. Share accordingly with cross‑functional teams working alongside Director of Product to take appropriate action.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members as required.
  • As a Senior member of the Product team the role is required to drive a culture of accountability, creativity and commercial acumen with the wider cross‑functional team.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate strategy across departments.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 6–10+ years of merchandising experience within the fashion industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple product categories across retail and/or e‑commerce channels.
  • Proven track record of delivering profitable growth and executing strategic merchandise plans.
