The candidate must have a strong work ethic and the ability to operate an industrial front end loader that transports log blocks from the block bin at the block saw. The operator will enter and exit the loader several times per shift and must be able to safely drive equipment in tight spaces throughout the log yard while complying with all company safety and policy procedures.
Responsibilities- Operate an industrial front end loader that transports 8‑ft long blocks from block bins at the block saw and the enclosed stem vat.
- Complete the mobile equipment checklist each shift.
- CLEAN UP during downtime by shoveling debris and dragging core and small logs with a picaroon.
