Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per year + bonus (up to £8,000)
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 9:00 – 17:00, with on-call duties on a rota

Service Users: Young people with EBD and complex needs, including DoLs requirements, supported within a solo therapeutic environment with 2:1 to 3:1 staffing.
Qualifications
Required:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Experience
Required:
Previous experience within an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home, ideally within a management or supervisory role.

Who we are looking for:
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to open and lead a new solo children’s home in Chester.
The role offers an opportunity to establish a high-quality provision designed to support a young person with complex needs within a stable, nurturing and therapeutic environment. You will lead the service from the outset, ensuring strong foundations are in place while delivering high standards of care and full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes Quality Standards.
You will be responsible for building and leading a committed staff team, ensuring the young person receives consistent, trauma‑informed care within a highly structured and supportive setting.
This role would suit a motivated leader who is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for young people while developing professionally within a growing organisation.

The service model focuses heavily on solo placements, allowing teams to provide intensive, personalised support to each young person.
