Cleaner The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking to appoint a reliable and well‑motivated individual as part of the school’s cleaning team to play a vital role in ensuring our students and staff have a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in which to learn and work.
Key Responsibilities include:
Ensure that all cleaning undertaken is to the required standard.
Work at all times within the Health and Safety requirements and be aware of the necessary fire and evacuation procedures.
Follow health and safety guidelines when working with any cleaning equipment including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
Ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are safely stored at the end of the cleaning shift.
Be willing to undertake any necessary training.
Be respectful.
- Act in a courteous and professional manner to all those with whom you have contact.
- Be reliable and have the ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Caretaker.
Contract:
Permanent. Closing Date: 20th April 2026.
Start Date:
1st June 2026. Salary: £8,295.09.
Hours:
15 hours per week /term time only 38 weeks a year. Previous cleaning experience is positive, but not essential as full training will be provided.
