Caretaker – Nirvana Managed Services

This role ensures the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of school facilities across Chester, North Wales, Wirral, and Manchester.

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Report maintenance and repair needs promptly to supervisors or the maintenance team.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Respond professionally and efficiently to requests or concerns from visitors, staff, or residents.

• Previous experience in caretaking, janitorial, or maintenance roles.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
• Certification in caretaking or maintenance services.
• Experience working in a similar environment (e.g., school, residential community, commercial property).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
