Job Opportunity:
Substance Misuse Nurse - Ellesmere Port & Chester

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join a dedicated team supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse.

Location:

Ellesmere Port & Chester

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Contract Length: 3 months

Pay Rate: £29 per hour (Ltd)

• Deliver clinical interventions within community-based substance misuse hubs.
• Improve access to healthcare services for service users, including BBV testing and treatment, healthcare assessments, ambulatory detox, and clinical observations.
• Provide and supervise high-quality nursing care in line with evidence-based practice and Via policies and procedures.
• Undertake general healthcare activities such as wound care, ECGs, and similar clinical procedures.
• Maintain competence in Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis to manage medical emergencies, including the administration of emergency medication.
• Support individuals throughout their recovery journey, promoting health, wellbeing, and engagement with services.

• Relevant nursing qualification with current professional registration.
• Experience in substance misuse or a related field is desirable.
• Confidence in delivering clinical care and responding effectively to medical emergencies.
