We have vacancies for permanent, full and part time opportunities for Clinical Support Workers within our Bed-based services for adults and older people, based at Bowmere Hospital in Chester.

If you are shortlisted for interview, this will take place in the form of a face to face, values based assessment centre at Bowmere Hospital. The date will be confirmed once shortlisting has been completed, and you will receive an email with the next steps if your application is being progressed to interview.

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

Main duties of the job

We offer wards that cater for acute admissions, assessment and treatment of dementia care, psychiatric intensive care and rehabilitation inpatient services. You would be required to work on a rotational shift basis, which includes days and nights.

You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team and have an ethos of collaborative working between individual service users, carers and other stakeholders.

Bowmere has the following wards:

  • Beech – acute admissions ward
  • Juniper – acute admissions ward
  • Cherry – organic admissions ward
  • Willow – PICU
  • Maple – Male high dependency rehabilitation ward

We also run the ECT department for all CWP inpatients and outpatients.
