Job Summary

Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurses to join the team at Ancora House.

About Ancora House

Ancora House is an in‑patient child and adolescent mental health service, consisting of 30 beds, split across two wards:
Coral and Indigo. We are a general adolescent unit, that also supports young people with an eating disorders.

Role Overview

You will be part of a supportive and knowledgeable multi‑disciplinary team, working on a rotational shift basis. This includes days, nights and twilight shifts. The post offers the successful applicant the exciting opportunity to join this team in providing the highest quality of care for our service users. We have an excellent training programme and preceptorship programme.

Location

Ancora House is based on the Countess of Chester Health Park Site approximately 1.5 miles from Chester city centre.

Induction and Training

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.
