Position: Health and Wellbeing Nurse (Contract)
Job Opportunity:
Substance Misuse Nurse – Ellesmere Port & Chester Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join a dedicated team supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse.

Location:

Ellesmere Port & Chester

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract Length: 3 months
Pay Rate: £29 per hour (Ltd)

Key Responsibilities
Deliver clinical interventions within community-based substance misuse hubs.
Improve access to healthcare services for service users, including BBV testing and treatment, healthcare assessments, ambulatory detox, and clinical observations.
Provide and supervise high-quality nursing care in line with evidence?based practice and Via policies and procedures.
Undertake general healthcare activities such as wound care, ECGs, and similar clinical procedures.
Maintain competence in Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis to manage medical emergencies, including the administration of emergency medication.
Support individuals throughout their recovery journey, promoting health, wellbeing, and engagement with services.

Requirements
Relevant nursing qualification with current professional registration.
Experience in substance misuse or a related field is desirable.
Confidence in delivering clinical care and responding effectively to medical emergencies.
