The role

You will be providing a variety of non-medical services to help our clientsstay independent in their own home, including:

• Support with shopping and errands
• Meal preparation
• Light household duties
• Companionship
• Assistance with dressing
• Administering medication
• Assistance with personal care.

Particular qualifications arenot required to become a Care Professional with Home Instead as you will receive full training and support from our operations team. However, it maybe useful to have some experience of a care setting, such as supportinga family member or voluntary experience.

Successful candidates must:

• Have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
• Be dependable, trustworthy and respectful.
• Enjoy building trusting relationships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Please note
:
Due to the nature of this role, some clients may require you to drive them to appointments or they may live in more remote/rural areas, therefore a valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
