Our Advisory team provides a wide variety of services that deliver value‑led advice and outcomes. They have an in-depth knowledge of business, industry sectors and markets and understand the constantly changing risks and opportunities at the heart of affairs. The team works across strategy, operations and improvement as well as at a transactional and defined project level. From technology to risk advisory, they are experts in following through on top‑level instructions and resolving the finer details – all in one straight‑forward package.

As a Manager in our regional Financial Services Advisory team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of advisory and independent assurance projects for financial services firms across all FS sectors. You will play an important role in developing and maintaining deep client relationships as well as continuing to develop your commercial management and business development skills. You will have the opportunity to further develop specialist technical and regulatory knowledge and will also have opportunities to work with and support the wider Financial Services Advisory team.
Responsibilities- Lead advisory and assurance projects for financial services clients.
- Maintain and nurture client relationships.
- Drive commercial management and business development activities.
- Support and collaborate with the wider advisory team.
- Recognised accountancy or internal audit professional qualifications and/or memberships (e.g., ICAEW, CIMA, CIIA, ACCA) preferred but not essential.
- Significant experience in regulatory assurance or internal audit within a professional services or financial services firm.
- A robust understanding of the regulatory environment and good practice in financial services, with knowledge of at least three of: FCA conduct rules and regulations, enterprise risk management frameworks and operating models, corporate governance/board effectiveness, credit risk, SMCR, operational resilience, consumer duty requirements, culture.
- Strong written and communication skills; ability to influence, lead, engage, and manage stakeholders.
- Experience in leading teams.
