DATS is partnering with a world-leading nuclear and energy organisation to recruit a Safety and Criticality Engineer. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting projects to meet the highest safety and licensing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform design safety analysis (chemotoxic, criticality, nuclear hazards).

• Conduct HAZOP/HAZAN/HAZID studies and follow-up analyses.

• Produce criticality safety assessments and dose calculations.

• Review and contribute to licence submissions and safety documentation.

• Respond to technical and safety queries, optimise safety systems.

About You:

• Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.

• 5+ years experience in safety analysis, ideally criticality-focused.

• Experience with MONK (criticality) and MCNP (dose calculations).

• Confident communicator, organised, and able to manage projects.

• Willing to travel and work flexibly; knowledge of French or German an advantage.

• Eligible for or holding DV Security Clearance.
