About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a premium automotive manufacturer who are looking for a Certification Engineer - Emissions to join their team on a long term rolling contract basis

Full week onsite in Crewe.

Task Description

• Our Clients' Technical Conformity Powertrain Certification Team collect Technical Data, attachments and other types of approval information required for homologation through the use of data catalogues stored in DMS.
• This data is then taken from the DMS central source and used in market applications (e.g. European MID or China TD).
• For the product line the data collection method has not yet transitioned to DMS.
• In order to further enhance the process of data collection, our Client would like to create R&D department specific catalogues, minimising where possible, requests for duplication of data.
• Our Client requires support to create the catalogues, agreeing responsibility with R&D functions and assisting with the delivery and tracking of data population by R&D.
• In addition to this, our Client requires support to administer and maintain the catalogues with respect to new data items, additional requirements or changes to data during the type approval process.

Qualification

• Powertrain Certification Know How
• Knowledge of Group DMS
• Ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of English
