Access Talent Group is currently recruiting for an SME multidisciplinary consultancy in Cheshire. They are seeking professionals at all levels with a background in Flood Risk and Hydro, specifically in Drainage and Flood Risk.

This consultancy is looking for experienced professionals with a background in flood risk and drainage. The individual will be responsible for the financial performance of a small team of engineers delivering Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and the detailed design of foul and surface water SuDS. Additionally, the successful candidate should have relevant experience in delivering flood alleviation schemes for both public and private sector clients.

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years UK experience within the sector. Experience in hydraulic modelling is not essential but is a plus; candidates should be willing to develop into a consultancy role. Responsibilities include preparing flood risk assessments and conceptual and detailed designs for drainage strategies.

Key points:

• Degree in civil engineering and progressing towards CEng or CIWEM status
• Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments in Flood Zones 1, 2, and 3
• Design of surface water flood alleviation works
• Preparation and detailed design of complex foul and surface water drainage strategies, incorporating SuDS techniques
• Knowledge of WinDES, Info Drainage, TUFLOW, Flood Modeler Pro
• Preparation of water chapters for Environmental Statements
• Strong written and spoken communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
