We’re looking for a commercially astute Business Development Manager with a strong background in packaging. If you thrive on opening doors, and delivering measurable success across confectionery, cosmetics, produce, and food markets, this role offers the platform to elevate both your career and earning potential.

Business Development Manager | Cartons & Labels Manufacturer | Midlands & Home Counties |
Salary £45k - £55k basic + car package + OTE £70k - £80k+

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to identify, pursue and secure new business within target sectors including confectionery, cosmetics, produce and food
  • Building, managing and growing a strong sales pipeline across carton packaging, linerless and self-adhesive label solutions
  • Presenting tailored packaging solutions and leading commercial negotiations (pricing, terms, contract agreements)
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver accurate proposals and exceptional service
  • Representing the business at client meetings, trade events and industry exhibitions

Key attributes required:

  • A commercially focused sales professional with a proven track record in packaging sales (carton and/or labels)
  • Skilled at identifying opportunities, closing deals, and nurturing long-term client relationships
  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Energetic and target-driven, with a consultative approach to building customer partnerships
  • Able to travel throughout the UK as required
