About The Company

Were working with a leading provider of contractor payroll and employment solutions that supports recruitment agencies, contractors, and temporary workers across the UK. They ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient payroll services so contractors get paid accurately and on time, while agencies and end clients receive a reliable and trusted service.

The Role

As a Payment Coordinator
, youll play a key role in ensuring subcontractors and employees are paid promptly and correctly. Youll manage your own set of clients, providing them with accurate information and excellent customer service, while supporting the business in maintaining efficient payment processes.

Responsibilities
  • Processing subcontractor and employee timesheets.
  • Managing client invoicing in line with agency agreements.
  • Processing payments accurately and on time, factoring in agreed days and payment methods.
  • Reconciling records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Providing agencies with updates and reports when needed.
  • Handling payroll, payment, and tax queries confidently and professionally.
  • Assisting with FPS submissions to comply with RTI regulations.
  • Supporting debt recovery procedures and liaising with relevant parties.
  • Taking on ad hoc administrative tasks to support the Payments Manager and wider team.
About You

What youll bring

  • Previous experience in a payroll role (contractor payroll experience a bonus, but not essential).
  • Strong numerical and Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A team-player attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
