Job Summary (Band 3 Administrator)
Join the Marsden House 0‑18 Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Services as a Band 3 Administrator. Support the team with all administrative tasks, using Microsoft Office, handling sensitive information with confidentiality, and communicating effectively with the public. Work part‑time (up to 30 hours per week) from the Chester office and the satellite clinic at Kingsley Resource Centre, Ellesmere Port.
Responsibilities- Provide a strictly confidential administrative service using electronic communication, computers, and databases.
- Maintain excellent time‑management and communication skills, responding appropriately to sensitive information.
- Support young people and their families in accessing services.
- Perform secretarial duties, including data entry, filing and maintaining confidential records.
- Assist with the organisation of seminars, conferences, workshops and other events.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team across the service area.
- Experience of providing secretarial/administrative duties.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information.
- Essential:
Evidence of good typing skills (e.g., RSA 111/NVQ Level III in an admin related subject or equivalent). - Desirable:
Audio typing skills, minute/note taking experience, ECDL, experience in a health environment, experience working in a team in an office setting, experience with general finance systems, and support of organisational events.
