. This position will be based in Bowmere hospital in Chester.
We have an opportunity to recruit a Team Administrator to support our Mental Health Intensive Support team (MhIST). You will be supported by a Business Manager. The administrative team are a supportive, competent and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services to our colleagues across the locality to improve the safety, health and well‑being of the people within our area.
Responsibilities- Provide a comprehensive administration service including diary management, undertake typing of correspondence and be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise using the Microsoft packages.
- Communicate with service users, carers and health & social care professionals. Attend meetings, maintain and action generic email boxes and make contact with our service users, parents/carers and external organisations.
- Answer phone calls, attend meetings, maintain and action generic email boxes and make contact with our service users, parents/carers and external organisations.
- Organise and prioritise your own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated.
- Provide cross cover for colleagues as and when required.
- Commitment to team working, a positive attitude and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work.
- Problem solving, good interpersonal skills for communicating with our service users, carers and staff members.
- Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be communicating with service users, carers and health & social care professionals.
The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
