As the Sheet Metal Assembly Supervisor, you'll be the conductor of our assembly line, ensuring each piece fits together seamlessly and every detail is meticulously crafted to perfection. You'll lead a team of talented craftsmen, guiding them with your expertise and inspiring them to achieve excellence in every bend, fold, and weld.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the assembly of sheet metal components according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate production schedules, allocate resources, and optimize workflow to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Train, mentor, and motivate assembly technicians to enhance their skills and performance.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to identify defects or deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to troubleshoot issues, refine processes, and improve product design for manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
• Maintain inventory levels, track material usage, and assist in procurement activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related fields AND/OR 5+ years of overall manufacturing experience
• 3+ Years of manufacturing management/supervisory experience
• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal forming techniques, equipment, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, punches, and welding machines.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

• Lean Six Sigma: 1 year (Preferred)
• ERP/MRP systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• working within ISO
  9001 and AS9100 standards: 1 year (Preferred)

• manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
• Working with hand and power tools: 1 year (Preferred)
