Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Service

Location: Sunderland, UK Salary: £45,827.60 – £48,579.70 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our Children’s Residential Service, supporting autistic and neurodivergent children in both home and community environments. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while guiding a committed team and ensuring the highest standards of care.

As Registered Manager, you will:

• Oversee and manage residential staff, ensuring a supportive, nurturing, and structured environment.
• Maintain exceptional care standards while ensuring compliance with safeguarding, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
• Foster positive relationships with families, external agencies, and professionals involved in each child’s care.
• Support the development and delivery of personalised care plans that promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Significant experience within children’s residential care.
• At least 2 years in a similar role and 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience
  .
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour support, and regulatory frameworks.
• An enhanced DBS/Disclosure (or willingness to obtain one).
