Are you a social worker who enjoys Court Work and working with freedom and flexibility?
Leaders in Care are working with a proactive Local Authority in the Cheshire area, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and families, while enjoying flexibility, support, and stability.
This position offers a balanced approach to hybrid working — with only two days per week in the office and the rest from home. You’ll be part of a committed safeguarding team focused on delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people.
Your Role:- Undertake assessments and interventions to safeguard children at risk.
- Manage a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and court cases.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Contribute to effective care planning and permanency arrangements.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive management structure that values reflection and professional growth.
- Hybrid working:
Only 2 days per week in the office. - Long-term contracts offering stability and consistency.
- Access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Supportive management with regular supervision and clear communication.
- £500 referral bonus for recommending qualified social workers.
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in Child Protection and Court Work.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and relevant legislation.
- Passionate about improving outcome for children and committed to best practice.
