Introduction
The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Central Office, has a Nurse Clinical Instructor (NCI) vacancy to be stationed at the Southbury Training School (STS) and provides training coverage to both STS and the Cheshire Training Center.
Position Highlights- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- First (1st) shift
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. - Candidate must be flexible to meet the needs of the agency.
- Statewide travel may be expected.
This position will coordinate and conduct the medication administration and re-certification process for DDS Public Program employees as well as private sector employees. The NCI teaches the 23-hour Medication Administration Course as well as the 1.5 re-certification review and also provides tutoring for those individuals when there is a medication error.
