Job Summary:

The Patient Ambassador is the individual in the front office who will facilitate positive relations with patients throughout the course of their treatment at Cheshire Fitness Zone. This individual is stationed at the check-in window to allow for face to face interactions with patients and families.

Purpose:

The purpose of the Patient Ambassador is to facilitate positive relations with patients while also performing essential front office tasks in collaboration with colleagues.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients, families, and other visitors as they arrive
  • Check in patients as they arrive and inform treating clinician of their arrival
  • Collect co-pays, invoice payments, and document payments according to company procedures
  • Ensure that entrance, waiting area, and common spaces are welcoming, clean and organized for optimal patient experience
  • Provide support to other office staff (when applicable) in answering phones when not face to face with patients
