Overview
The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Central Office, Quality and System Improvement Division, within Education Support and Staff Development, has anticipated trainer vacancies located in Cheshire, Harford, Stratford, Wallingford, and Windham (Willimantic). Position highlights:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, First (1st) shift, Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- The incumbents will provide compliance training to over 300 staff a year.
- Prepare and conduct training courses.
- Assist in planning, developing, coordinating and evaluating comprehensive training programs.
- Conduct needs assessments; develop course objectives, curricula, outlines and contents.
- Select and develop training methods and materials; research learning material and resources.
- Monitor and evaluate training courses and participants progress.
- Provide technical assistance and consultation.
- Maintain records and prepare reports.
- Organize and maintain a library of training materials.
- May conduct drills and exercises.
- Travel to various locations to conduct training.
