Overview
We are looking for a permanent AHP Student Educator to join our team.
The post holder will assist the Senior Learning Experience & Environment Educator and Senior Student Educators in coordinating, delivering and evaluating identified training programmes for student support and other practice education training subjects for staff. The purpose of the role is to provide increased visibility across the trust in student placement areas.
The post holder will assist the Senior AHP Student Educator in meeting the organisational commitment to training and staff development fulfilling national and local clinical standards guidelines and policies.
This role will provide a comprehensive and effective range of support to identified training programmes and work flexibly at venues across the Trust.
The post holder will be given the opportunity to positively promote NMC/HCPC standards and develop educational standards within the trust, such as educational audits and support in improved learning environments. Working with students within practice settings, to improve the quality and number of skilled practice educators within HIOWH In doing this they will be expected to be involved in the delivery of practice education and support assessment of learners in practice.
They will also be expected to support the assessment of clinical competence of staff in respect to supporting students in practice.
