Red Line Athletics Chesapeake is a premier athletic training facility dedicated to supporting athletes ages 8–18 in developing strength, agility, confidence, and character. Locally owned and operated, we are proud to be part of the Red Line Athletics national brand—one of the fastest-growing youth athletic performance organizations in the country, with over 40 locations nationwide.

Our 9,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility features turf training areas, youth-specific strength equipment, innovative functional movement assessment tools, and sport-specific equipment, including batting cages. Our programming is built on long-term athletic development, providing age-appropriate, progressive training tailored to each athlete—whether they’re just getting started or preparing for advanced competition.

In addition to core performance training, we offer sport-specific programming, private and small-group coaching, and team training. We strive to create a safe, motivating, and positive environment where young athletes build confidence, resilience, and lifelong healthy habits.

As the Director of Sports Performance, you will play a key leadership role in coaching athletes, mentoring staff, and delivering an exceptional member experience. You’ll lead by example on the floor while guiding programming quality, coach development, and athlete progress. This role offers the opportunity to lead locally while leveraging nationally supported programming, education, and resources designed to develop both athletes and high-performing coaches.

• Lead dynamic training sessions using Red Line Athletics programming systems while ensuring consistent, high-quality coaching delivery
• Design and implement team and elite athlete programming to drive performance improvement and goal achievement
• Train, mentor, and develop coaching staff to enhance effectiveness and professional growth
• Open and close the facility and oversee daily programming communication and flow
• Deliver outstanding service during training sessions, performance testing, and large events
• Build strong relationships with parents, athletes, and prospective members
• Collect, analyze, and communicate performance data to track athlete development and progress

• Leadership experience overseeing coaches, educators, or team members
• 1+ years of experience coaching youth athletes (under 18) in a sports performance setting
• Current NSCA-CSCS or NASM-PES certification
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust within the community
• A strong work ethic and genuine passion for sports, health, and human performance
• A motivational, positive, and professional coaching presence
