Shipboard Installer; Security Clearance

Position Overview

GVI Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Shipboard Installer to join our Team in Chesapeake, VA.

• Perform cable installation, removal, and cableway finalization onboard U.S. Navy Ships
• Perform cable fabrication, termination, and connector building in accordance with drawings and quality specifications
• Follow direction, interpret installation drawings, and work as part of a team

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with 0-4 years of relevant experience sufficient to perform maintenance tasks
• Knowledge of U.S. Navy or NAVSEA combat systems is a plus
• Prior AIT or military experience is a plus
• Ability to work in an industrial shipyard environment is required
• Ability to carry 50 lbs up and down ladder wells is required
• Proficiency with common ship repair tools of the trade is required
• Periods of extensive travel may be required
• Clearance:
  Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance
