Location: Chesapeake, VA
Russell’s American Mechanical is seeking a reliable and experienced HVAC Installer to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. This position is ideal for a hands‑on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering excellent service to customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall residential HVAC systems including split systems, package units, heat pumps, and furnaces
Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment in accordance with company standards
Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and safety requirements
Connect electrical, refrigerant, ductwork, and drainage components properly
Perform system start‑ups and verify proper operation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Accurately complete installation documentation
Qualifications2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
EPA Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
