Maintenance Technician – Dollar Tree Stores

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our warehouse team at Dollar Tree. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, efficient Distribution Center that serves our communities.

Performs preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting on conveyors, building equipment, machinery, and electrical/controls systems.

• Follow safety procedures to protect personal and DC associate safety.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment such as lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling, hydraulic, dock, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical/electronic issues, including PLCs, motor drives, and I/O devices.
• Use technical drawings and diagnostic tools (multimeter, laptop) to identify problems.
• Assist other technicians with repair and maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement new procedures and designs to maintain 100% equipment efficiency.
• Maintain a knowledge base of center systems.
• Keep the work area organized and promote safety.
• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and associates to minimize downtime.
• Document work orders, records, and logs per established procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment and powered machinery.
• Ensure workmanship meets highest quality standards.

Coursework or certification in electronic technology plus 2 years industrial maintenance experience, or 3 years industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on electronic technology, troubleshooting automated equipment, and repairing.

PLC/PC program knowledge, industrial electrical experience (480 V 3‑phase, 110 VAC, 24 VDC), advanced PC and industrial control troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication skills to relate technical issues to leadership. Must be willing to perform shift work, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Associate’s Degree in electronic technology with 2 years industrial maintenance experience focusing on electronic technology.
