Coastal Precast Systems is seeking a Diesel mechanic heavy equipment with some experience to join our team. This position offers hands‑on opportunities in a fast‑paced industrial setting.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on diesel‑powered vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in handling tools, have knowledge of diesel and gas engines, and possess a positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) services on diesel‑powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Utilize diesel mechanic background to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and other components.
• Demonstrate knowledge in conducting inspections and making necessary adjustments to maintain compliance and safety standards.
• Knowledge and experience with hydraulics are a plus, as you may be required to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
• Be prepared to work occasional Saturdays and Sundays as required.
• Work a flexible schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM daily, although hours may vary depending on the workload and specific job requirements.
• Adapt to working in diverse climates, including both hot and cold conditions, while maintaining productivity and safety.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, being a reliable team player in achieving departmental goals.
• Demonstrate self‑motivation and the ability to take on individual tasks with minimal supervision.

• Experience with 12‑volt and 24‑volt gas and diesel are strongly preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with at least some hands‑on experience.

Pay is based on experience.

Serás responsable de realizar una variedad de tareas de mantenimiento y reparación en vehículos y equipos impulsados por diesel.

• Horario flexible de 7 AM a 5 PM, con variación según la carga de trabajo.

• Experiencia con gasolina y diésel de 12 y 24 voltios preferida.
• Conocimientos mecánicos básicos con experiencia práctica.
