The Inside Sales Representative supports existing customers and the outside sales team by managing requests for quotes (RFQs), providing accurate and competitive pricing, and ensuring a high level of customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, product knowledge, and effective collaboration across departments to deliver the right solutions on time.
Our sales team is central to our success. We are seeking individuals with a sales or technical background in industrial electrical components and systems —
industrial or marine electrical experience is strongly preferred — who are interested in building or continuing a career in sales supporting industrial and marine customers.

What you ll do
- Respond to RFQs from existing customers by researching products and developing accurate, competitive quotes.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support customer needs and maintain a seamless sales process.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of product offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Assist with inventory awareness and product availability to support accurate quoting and order processing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pricing, availability, and order status inquiries.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (electrical product industry experience preferred).
- Familiarity with electrical products or military/industrial applications is a plus (e.g., electrician or ship maintenance experience).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or similar tools).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
