We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our team in Chesapeake, VA. This full‑time, on‑site role involves overseeing daily store operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, meeting sales goals, managing inventory, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. You will lead, train, and develop your team to create a cohesive and customer‑centric store environment. Additionally, the role requires ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering a positive and inclusive work atmosphere that aligns with Hot Topic’s values.
Qualifications- Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development skills to inspire and motivate team members.
- Proven experience in managing retail operations, achieving sales targets, and overseeing inventory management.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on enhancing the customer’s in‑store experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with visual merchandising and company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound business decisions in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Adaptability to varied tasks, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation, to meet store challenges and opportunities.
- Minimum of 2‑4 years of experience in retail management preferred; a degree in business, management, or a related field is a plus.
