Sales Clerk Leader

Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Clerk Leader to inspire our team and drive sales at Chesapeake, VA.

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, provide outstanding customer service.
• Operate cash register, accept payment, verify change, manage cash overage and shortage records.
• Order merchandise, receive, price, monitor stock levels, communicate with HQ for special orders.
• Assist store management in training front‑end employees, provide input on employee evaluations.
• Supervise other employees, lead store in absence of management, follow loss prevention and safety policies.
• Key carrier, opening and closing store as required; work weekends.

• Minimum:
  Prior retail experience in inventory control and sales; ability to lift 10–25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Preferred:
  Experience operating a cash register, knowledge of sales inventory; previous retail supervisory experience; current USCG NAF sales clerk with at least 6 months experience.
