Travel Critical Care Nurse in Chesapeake, VA

Schedule/

Hours:

• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour night shifts

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional critical and stepdown care to patients in the ICU and medical-surgical units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience preferred.
• Experience in Critical Care and Stepdown nursing.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts effectively in a dynamic hospital environment.
• Adaptability to travel and provide care in new settings.
