Plasma Center Nurse - LPN

Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support Plasma Center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and provide front‑line clinical support for plasma donations.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of lab results.
• Manage donor adverse events and evaluate donor reactions as outlined in SOPs.
• Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and coordinate donor transport to emergency care as needed.
• Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs on medical or technical findings.
• Support employee vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu) and manage employee incidents per EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate from a recognized nursing program with state requirements.
• LPN or LVN license in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State‑required IV therapy certification.
• Completion of FDA‑approved Bio Life Medical Support Specialist training.
• At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.
