Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team as a utility person to assist with a Packing Project. This role is essential in supporting the plant's operational needs.

• Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading tasks.
• Support general production and labor activities.
• Operate forklifts and move materials efficiently.
• Stage pallets and organize packaging lines.
• Perform manual and physical labor outdoors.
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
• Collaborate effectively with team members in an assembly line process.

• Experience in material handling and general production labor.
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using a forklift.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.
• Reliable transportation is required.

• Experience in packing and packaging lines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

The work environment includes music playing on speakers throughout the day. The job is physically demanding and often involves working outdoors in a non-climate-controlled setting. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chesapeake, VA.
