Equipment Operator

• Operate loader, forklift, bobcat and skid steer equipment safely under the direction of the shift supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning equipment.
• Conduct pre‑shift and end‑of‑shift inspections and document inspection reports.
• Load trucks, pile scrap material, and load/unload barges and rail cars.
• Maintain clean work areas and indicate and remove residual waste.
• Commit to overall safety and adhere to Sims safety regulations and golden rules.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 12 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
