The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, document test procedures, and maintain test equipment.
** What You Will Do
*** Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
* Document test procedures and results accurately.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
* Generate reports on test status, issues, and actions.
** Qualifications You Must Have
*** HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a testing environment
* Experience with testing equipment and software.
* U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
** Qualifications We Prefer
*** Experience producing presentations of status, issues, and actions.
* Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment and technical procedures
