Sentara Therapy Center Edinburgh is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant in Chesapeake, Virginia.
This is a is looking for a Full-time, Night shift opportunity with great benefits.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Education- Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required), obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program
- Holds a current Physical Therapist Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA)
- RQI American Heart Association (AHA)
- RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
At least 2 years of experience is required.
