Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (Home Health)
** Sentara Home Care Services is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) in Norfolk, Virginia.
**** This is a Full Time, Rotating shift opportunity with great benefits.
**** The shift is 8 am - 5 pm.
**** As a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, you will:
*** Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under supervision of a physical therapist.
* May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
* Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
* Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.

* Qualifications:

**** Education**:
* Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
*
* Experience:

** At least 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
** Certification**:
* Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
