Special Operations Communication Systems Project Manager - VA

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Project Manager to join our team supporting the sustainment efforts for various Special Operations Forces (SOF) commands. In this role you will lead projects that maintain, repair, and modernize C5
ISR equipment, including Next‑Generation Tactical Radios and auxiliary equipment, working closely with SOF commands.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate and communicate with SOF commands, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Utilize knowledge of specialized L3
Harris Falcon radio family and communication systems across all frequency bands. - Travel as required, including CONUS travel and potentially to OCONUS locations.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to achieve project goals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop and implement risk‑management plans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with SOF commands and stakeholders to ensure continued support and collaboration.

This position is located in Chesapeake, VA. No relocation assistance is available; applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to Chesapeake, VA or surrounding areas.
Minimum Education RequiredHigh School/GED
Additional Qualifications- At least 3 years of experience working with L3
Harris Falcon family of radios. - At least 3 years of experience working with Special Operations Forces.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field (with a technical minor or relevant military experience), and at least 7 years of related experience, OR an Associate degree and at least 9 years of related experience.
- At least 5 years of project management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or M365 suite of applications.
- Preferred:
Experience working with SOF commands or similar organizations. - Knowledge of C5
ISR systems and sustainment processes. - Experience managing large‑scale maintenance efforts.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.

Full‑Time Salary Range: $105,254 – $178,931
