The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on electronic and mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, document test procedures, and maintain test equipment.
What You Will Do- Conduct functional and performance testing on electronic and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and anomalies.
- Document test procedures and results accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
- Generate reports on test status, issues, and actions.
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a testing environment.
- Experience with testing equipment and software.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience producing presentations of status, issues, and actions.
- Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems and equipment at a component level using schematics, test equipment and technical procedures.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
