We are seeking an experienced Neurological Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity starts on Jan 5, 2026, and spans 42 days, following a 7 on/7 off night shift rotation from 7pm to 7am. The role focuses on pre-op and post-op rounding for neurosurgery patients, without any operating room responsibilities, in a high-volume service.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide pre-operative and post-operative rounding for neurosurgery patients
Manage patient care during night shifts as part of a busy service
Rotate coverage between two hospital sites as scheduled
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Document clinical findings and patient progress accurately

Additional Information
Must have a valid Virginia license
Strong experience with neurosurgery patients is required
Candidates with Epic EMR experience are preferred
Must be comfortable working exclusively nights
Board certification in Neurological Surgery required
