Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist North Chesapeake, VA

Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license and board certification in OB/GYN
- Current healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification
- Proven experience in obstetrics and inpatient obstetric care
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Previous locum tenens or hospitalist experience
- Knowledge of perioperative and emergency obstetric procedures
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years post-residency obstetric practice
- Prior experience in a hospitalist or locum setting
- Availability to start on or before 12/30/2025
- Flexibility to work weekends, specifically covering shifts during weekends
- Ability to accommodate travel and licensure reimbursement procedures
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and compliance trainings
Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50
