Required Skills:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid and unrestricted medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including labor and delivery management
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-acuity cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience in a hospitalist setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Newborn resuscitation certification (e.g., NRP)
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school
• At least 2 years of hospital-based obstetric practice
• Prior locum tenens or temporary position experience is preferred

Other Requirements:

• Weekend shift availability (Saturday and Sunday)
• Ability to start on 12/30/2025
• Willingness to undergo credentialing and compliance checks
• Must adhere to all hospital policies and state/federal regulations
• Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable as per policy
