We're seeking an experienced Estimator to lead estimating projects in a collaborative, goal-driven environment with a respected construction and HVAC company in the Tidewater area. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical and analytical skills to contribute to high-quality, in-house fabrication and installation projects.

Schedule:

Days | Pay Rate: $60K & Up.

• Lead estimating efforts from start to finish, analyzing blueprints, technical documents, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with project objectives.
• Handle multiple estimates simultaneously, making critical decisions under bid deadlines.
• Maintain precise records of estimates, assumptions, and supporting documentation.

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in construction, HVAC, or a similar field.
• Proficient in blueprints, CAD, cost estimation software, and Microsoft Office;
  Timberline experience preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with fabrication and installation projects from start to finish (we are not looking for glass estimators).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
• A team‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
