Service Administrator Intern
Colonial Webb is seeking a positive, proactive, and customer focused administrative intern to join our Chesapeake office for Summer 2026. As our Service Administrator Intern, you will support field personnel, management, and service coordinators with billing, service quotes, dispatching, invoices, payroll, contract compliance, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

- Respond to internal and external customer telephone inquiries, direct calls, and emails
- Sort, separate, and file documentation relating to customers and jobs
- Maintain, organize, and mail documentation for various contracts, projects, and invoices
- Assist internal and external customers with obtaining work orders and assigning work orders, as needed
- Order, track status, and maintain accurate documentation of parts requested by field personnel
- Assist with service quotes, proposals, and presentations, as needed
- Assist in sales activities to ensure they align with company practices by learning effective time management skills
- Support the GM in the development of objectives and strategies for business development
- Assist in developing sales strategies and tactics in collaboration with the Sales Manager
- Strong customer service skills and phone presence
- Positive, can-do attitude and professional demeanor
- Technological proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook), Internet navigation, and database software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field (preferred, not required)
- Ability to enter data with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to interact with vendors and provide assistance to other departments
